October 2010 First Titus 2 Craft- Fabric Pumpkins!

You need:
*-a FULL role of toilet paper
*-a square piece of fabric (or not!) but you need enough to do some wrapping around and stuffing down,   *-plastic grocery bags and
*-a knotty stick from your yard or someone else's!
-this is just an Andrea note- I use a wooden dowel or a wooden spoon to push the fabric down with....

Just in case I totally confuse you on my post...Here is where I got the idea!

For another option, I love these:

Okay so back to mine!  And just remember the dual purpose these serve:  Decor and necessity!  If you run out of toilet paper and can't get to the store right away, grab a pumpkin- undo the fabric first!

Take your fabric and lay it out on a flat surface.
Put the toilet paper in the middle of the fabric.
Take your grocery bags and scrunch them up.  Use as many as you want or as few since you determine how full the pumpkin will be..
Pull your fabric up around the bags and toilet paper and stuff into the hole of the paper roll.  Here is where I often use a wooden dowel or a spoon!  Work the fabric into the hole until its completely covered and looks like a pumpkin!  Push the knotty stick into the hole and add a silk leaf if you want!!!!!

You can add ribbon around the stem or a metal curly thingy or whatever to dress it up...
Just remember God doesn't make perfect pumpkins, so if your is a little "not perfect" don't worry.  God makes things that way so they are unique and beautiful, just like us!
